The Chancellor’s Call to Action Initiative aims to place our institutional values of diversity, equity, and inclusion at the heart of every aspect of what we do as a university. Core to this commitment is a $2 million research program that supports efforts to advance the understanding of systemic bias and structural disparities – some of the greatest challenges facing our society – to find new solutions. The Call to Action was announced by Chancellor Robert J. Jones to the university community in July 2020.
